![]() ![]() CRT tech might not be 4K/8K/12K Ultra Omni MegaZord HD, but it will be decades before it ceases to completely exist. Playing on the real console is almost always the best and most enjoyable way to play, specially taking into account that not all emulators are 100% compatible (Saturn comes to mind). While you can upres and apply filters and stuff in emulators, it's not the same unadulterated experience, and sometimes causes glitches here and there, specially input lag. Research a bit: CRT televisions and Professional Video Monitors are THE BEST way to play and enjoy classic retro games, since those games were natively made for that tech, and use their resolution. I dunno why people won't let him make his hack HD. That's the only change that should be done, the rest is pretty great! Yeah, my personal suggestion is to revert the lifebars back to the original locations, and then keep everything else the way you have it, and it would be pretty perfect. MKT contains the same story as MK3 along with the updates from UMK3 but adds characters and levels from Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 along with the addition of the 'aggressor bar' and Brutalities. And really play on it - it's generally pointless. Mortal Kombat Trilogy is basically Mortal Kombat 3 version 3, meaning its the 2nd revision to MK3, the first revision being Ultimate MK3. Would developers use all available screen space, knowing that part of the image can be clipped? In addition, you need to try very hard to find such an old TV, on which there may be problems with overscan.
